           Marlene A. Costello, 84, of Fawn Township, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, May 9, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born May 10, 1938 in Tarentum to the late Michael A. “Mickey” and Ann “Honey” (Klabnik) Birochik. Marlene lived the past 65 years in Fawn Township. She was a Budget Analyst for Gulf Research, Harmarville for 30 years and also managed family business, Aaron Ind. Supply & Dura-Sales for 20 years. Marlene was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, Tarentum. She was a 1956 graduate of Tarentum High School and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Marlene especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

            Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Rodger F. Costello; her children Lori (Doug) Simoncic, of Fawn Twp. and Kenneth M. (Cheryl) Costello, of Glenshaw; grandchildren Julia Ann (Robert) Galisin, of Pgh., D.J. Simoncic, of Fawn Twp., Claire Costello, of Shaler and Maeve Costello, of St. Petersburg, FL.; great grandchildren Robbie and Sophia Galisin. Also surviving is her sister Linda Birochik, of Palmetto, FL. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Sylvia Audo.
