Marlin K. Wiskemann, 78, of New Kensington, passed away Wednesday, May 02, 2018 at Platinum Ridge, Brackenridge. He was born November 30, 1939 in Harrison Twp., to the late Kenneth and Edna (Martz) Wiskemann. Marlin lived most of his life in the AK Valley where he was a general worker for Pittsburgh Metals Purifying CO, Saxonburg for 28 years. He was also a security guard at PPG, Springdale. Marlin was a Staff SSgt in the US Army, MP Division of New Kensington and Commander of Post 48 American Legion, Natrona where he was very active. Marlin graduated from Har Brack High school and enjoyed playing cards.
Survivors include his children Vincent J. (Tammy) Wiskemann, North Buffalo Twp. and Marla Jo W. Green, Lower Burrell; grandchildren Haley (Richard) Dotts, East Franklin Twp., John A. Green, Jr., Lower Burrell and Emily E. Green, Lower Burrell ; step-grandchildren,Christopher J. and Jennifer D. Knightly,of Kittanning; and great granddaughters Riley and Zoey Dotts, East Franklin Twp. Also surviving is a sister Phyllis Thomson, Fawn Twp. and his companion of many years, Maryann Rabik, Tarentum. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Kenneth, Ronald and Gary Wiskemann.
Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday in the Duster Funeral Home,Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am with Rev. Sandra E.
