Marti Cohen

Marti Cohen, 78, of Natrona Heights, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights following a brief illness. She was born June 2, 1944 in Brackenridge to the late Henry and Lois Jean (Shannon) Meyers. Marti lived most of her life in Natrona Heights where she was a homemaker and of the Jewish faith. She graduated from Har Brack high school in 1962 and enjoyed card playing and the casinos. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

            Survivors include her husband of 55 years Walt Cohen; twin sons David Cohen of Natrona Heights, Jeffrey (Debra) Cohen, of Buffalo Twp and son Heath Cohen, of Natrona Heights. Six grandchildren Dylan Alona Cohen, Griffin Cohen, Seth Cohen, Hadley Cohen, Hudson Cohen and Turner Cohen. Also surviving is a brother Robert (Justine) Meyers, of Natrona Heights and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Cynthia Jill (Scranton) Cohen and a brother Henry “Buzz” Meyers.

            Visitation Wednesday 9 AM until the time of service at 12 noon in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum 724-224-1526 with Rabbi Yaier Lehrer, officiating. Burial will be private. VISIT: dusterfh.com
