Marvin Hadley Williams passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 25, 1945, in Exeter, New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Hadley and Ruth Williams.

Marvin was preceded in death by his brother, Galen Williams, and his son, Rainey. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 43 years, Joyce (Choltko) Williams, his daughters Kendal Leon, Darlene Williams, and Suzanne Williams, sister Sharon Ribitzki, brothers Dennis (Linda) Williams and Kevin (Holly) Williams, and many other family members and friends.

After earning his mechanical engineering degree from Wentworth in Massachusetts in 1965, Marvin built a successful career at Alcoa. Motivated by his entrepreneurial drive, he founded his own automotive sales business, The Other Way, before choosing to retire from Alcoa to pursue his passion for commercial and residential property development through MH Williams & Associates. Known for his distinguished collection of classic automobiles, Marvin found great joy in this hobby. Marvin took exceptional pride in sharing his vehicles with others and was a legend in the classic car community.

Marvin’s dedication to the City of New Kensington was evident in his decades of service, including leadership roles as President of the New Kensington Zoning Board, President of the New Kensington Chamber of Commerce, and involvement with the Northern Westmoreland Foundation. His commitment to revitalizing New Kensington reflected his deep belief in the city’s potential and promise. His legacy lives on in the family, friends, and community he loved so dearly.

Marvin will be remembered for hard work, dedication to his family and the lasting impact he made on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley 730 Church Street, New Kensington PA 15068.

Family & Friends will be received 6-8 PM Friday , January 16, 2026, in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. A private burial service will follow. VISIT: dusterfuneralhomeinc.com
