Mary Ellen Adams

Mary Ellen (Burns) Adams,88 formerly of Buffalo Twp passed  away,Sunday,May 20,2018. She was born in Camden,N.J. to the  late Arnold & Naomi (Sweeney) Burns. Mary Ellen  came to Tarentum as a young child,but lived most of her life in Buffalo Twp where she was a homemaker. She was a member of Millerstown United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir,she enjoyed arts & crafts,woodworking,and singing. Mary Ellen is survived by a son Mark A.(Adrienne) Adams,Buffalo Twp,and a daughter Colleen (Robert) Bowman,Fawn Twp., Grandchildren Allison (Robert) Carrier,Austin,TX,and James Adams,Buffalo Twp.Also a sister Virginia Callen, of Spring Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband,John M. Adams in 1991 and a daughter Kathleen Hayes  in 2015. Visitation will be Wed,May 23rd from 2-4 &  6-8  PM  in Duster Funeral Home,Inc. 347 East 10th Ave,Tarentum,Pa.15084  724-224-1526 where services will be conducted Thursday at 11 AM with her Pastor,Rev Joshua P.
