Mary L. Karadeema

Mary L. Karadeema, 58, of Fawn Township, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born September 17, 1964 in Clearfield, PA to the late Robert and Mildred (McFaye) Maines. Mary has lived the past 11 years on Fawn and prior to that Clearfield, PA. She was a homemaker and also was a manager at McDonald’s in Clearfield and Pittsburgh Mills for 30 years. Mary was a member of Center United Methodist Church and a 1983 graduate of Clearfield High School. She enjoyed gardening, outside work on her lawn and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

            Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Frederick J. “Fred” Karadeema; Step daughter Amber Hooks, of Erie and step son Corey Karadeema, of Pittsburgh. Also surviving are her siblings Patty Maines, of Morrisdale, Lisa Maines, of State College and Michael (Darlene) Maines, of Dubois and her In laws John E. and Virginia M. (Jones) Karadeema, of Buffalo Twp. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Connie Hummell, of Clearfield.
