Mary Louise Killian, 94, of Brackenridge, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 following a lengthy illness. She was born January 22, 1926 in Harrison Township to the late Joseph and Yolanda (Persighetti) Getty. Mary Louise was a lifelong resident of Tarentum and lived the past 15 years in Brackenridge. She was a homemaker and member of Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum. She spent her whole life working in the food services industry where she owned and operated West Side Café in Tarentum. Mary Louise graduated in 1944 from Tarentum High School and enjoyed cooking and especially enjoyed her family.
Survivors include her children Dr. Paul J. (Bonnie) Killian, Fox Chapel, Robert A. (Kimberly) Killian, Allegheny Twp., Gregory T. (Lauri) Killian, Natrona Heights, Jeffrey C. (Angelic) Killian, Tarentum and Dawn A. (Shawn) Schreckengost, West Deer Twp. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul J. Killian in 1986, daughters Lynette Gallegos and Tammy Allenberg and Brothers Fred and Richard Getty.
A private family visitation was held in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. A private Christian funeral mass Friday at 11 AM in Most Blessed Sacrament church, Natrona Heights. Entombment will be in Mt. Airy Mausoleum, Natrona Heights. VISIT: dusterfh.com
