Mary S. Rovnan-Davis

Mary S. “Duck” Rovnan- Davis, 94 of Fawn Twp., passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at home, peacefully in her sleep. She was born October 9, 1923 in Chicago, ILL. Mary lived most of her life in Fawn Township. She was an admission clerk at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights and was also the former Tax collector for Fawn Twp. Mary was a member of Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum and an avid watcher of EWTN, Catholic channel. She had a strong Catholic faith and enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. Mary especially enjoyed time with her family, children and grandchildren. She always remembered family birthdays and holidays.

            Survivors include her sons, John M. (Janet) Rovnan, Natrona Heights and George M. (Kim) Rovnan, Adams Twp.; grandchildren John M. (Kelly) Rovnan, Mark S. (Helene) Rovnan, Matthew C. (Karesa) Rovnan, Courtney L. (Daniel) DeMarco and Kelsey E. Rovnan; great grandchildren Sydney, Karina, Tyler, Milan, Elizabeth, Addyson, James, Theodore and Cole. Also surviving is a sister Ann Blaha FL.; Step sons Ted Davis, Natrona, Terry (Connie) Davis, New Kensington and Rob (Kathy) Davis, Buffalo Twp; step grandchildren Ronnie, Nicole, Kevin, Missy, Eric and Jessica Davis. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Milan P. Rovnan, Sr. in 1968 and 2^nd husband Robert Davis and a son in infancy Milan Rovnan in 1962.

            Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 am in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum with Rev. Thomas L. Gillespie, MD, officiating. Burial in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp.
