Mary Trusik

Mary Trusik, 100 years old,  peacefully passed away Monday, May 29, 2023.   She was born January 31, 1923, in Detroit Michigan, daughter of the late Mary Seben & Paul Hrabovsky.  She married her best friend Mike Trusik in 1938.  He proceeded her in death in 1987.   They had been married for 48 years.  Mary was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and a great great grandmother.

She was a retired supervisor at Belair Nursing Home in Lower Burrell.  She was proud of her age and living independently for so many years.  She treasured spending time with her family.  She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and baking.  Best known for all the cookies she baked for family weddings and holidays.  Her favorite holiday was Christmas with more decorations displayed than Pool City.

Her survivors include her children Mike (Claudia) Trusik, Dave (Cathy) Trusik, Linda (Randy) Prunty, a sister Margie Hrabovsky, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents & husband, she was proceeded in death by her daughter Jane (Jim) Benford, sisters, Betty Padgelek, Helen Hrabovsky, and brothers Ernie, Paul, Eugene, Jim & John Hrabovsky.
