Matthew D. Dickun

Matthew D. Dickun, 35 of Washington Township, passed away on his birthday, Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Mathew was born October 29, 1989 in Pittsburgh, son of Mark N. and Patricia Ann (Stanesic) Dickun, of Washington Township. Matthew lived his entire life in Washington Township and was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Tarentum. He was a graduate of Kiski Area High School and Pittsburgh Technical Institute where he earned a degree in Computer drafting and he studied CNC. Matthew enjoyed 3D Art, music, studying the Constitution and followed Hillsdale College. 

 Besides his parents, survivors include his brother Zachary (Carrie) Dickun, of Upper Burrell and niece Evelyn Rose. Also surviving is his maternal grandmother, Rose Stanesic, of Trafford. Matthew was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather George Stanesic and paternal grandparents Bernard and Betty Dickun.

 Visitation 5-8 PM Friday in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a Panachida will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10 AM in Sts. Peter & Paul Church, Tarentum with Very Rev. Vasyl Polyak and Rev. Wesley M. Mash, con celebrating. Burial will be in Good Shephard Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville.
