Maxine E. Carnathan

            Maxine E. Carnathan, 89, of Brackenridge, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023 at Addington Place of Clarkston, Michigan. She was born September 6, 1934 in Springdale to the late Edward B. and Margaret (Rowles) Cheesman, Sr. Maxine lived in Brackenridge for 22 years and Fawn Township for 21 years. She was a floral designer for Springdale floral and also operated a catering business. Maxine was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Brackenridge and the Eastern Star, Tarentum now in Freeport. She graduated from Tarentum high school in 1952 and enjoyed baking, crocheting and sewing.

            Survivors include her sister-in-law Sally Cheesman, of Fawn Township and is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Theodore F. Carnathan, November 21,2022 and two brothers Edward Jr. and Robert Cheesman and sister-in-law Evelyn Cheesman.
