Michael A. Krukowski, 68, of Pittsburgh, passed away unexpectedly at his residence Monday, February 21, 2022. He was born January 1, 1954 in Harrison Twp., to the late George and Helen B. (Ogrodowczyk) Krukowski. Michael has lived the past two years in Pittsburgh and prior to that Woodbury, Connecticut. He was a Controller for Dresser Industries. Michael was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, O’Hara Twp. and Knights of Columbus, O’Hara Twp. He was a 1971 graduate of Freeport High School, earned his Bachelor of Science from Indiana University of PA where he was a Delta Sigma Phi fraternity brother. He also received his MBA from the University of New Haven. Michael was a Red Coat volunteer at AVH and enjoyed traveling, dining out and especially spending time with his family.
Survivors include his sisters, Bonnie A. Hotkowski, of O’Hara, Sharon C. (Roger) Kallner, of Buffalo twp. and Paula M. (Glenn) Girardi, of Newtown, PA and 9 nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Jane (Kuhn) Krukowski and brother-in-law Jack Hotkowski.
A memorial mass will be conducted Friday March 4 at 10 AM in Christ the King Parish, St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, O’Hara Township. Private burial will be in Mt. Airy Mausoleum, Natrona Heights.
