Michael A. Thimons, 65, of Natrona Heights passed away peacefully on March 18, 2023 while in hospice care at Quality Life Services in Apollo. He was born July 30, 1957 to the late Arnold and Rita (Nickolaus) Thimons. He attended Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Elementary School and was a 1975 graduate of Saint Joseph High School. After graduation, he worked at Harrison Hills Park for many years, and also Medrad in O’Hara Township. Michael liked watching Steelers and Notre Dame football games, playing cards, and telling and hearing corny jokes. He was a longtime member of the former No 71 Loyal Order of Moose, Tarentum Lodge.
Michael lost his biggest champion, his father Arnold, in 2014. He is also preceded in death by his mother Rita, and sister in law, Teresa Thimons,beloved wife of Arnold J. Thimons, IV. He is survived by his seven siblings, Mark A. (Judy) Thimons, of Natrona Heights, Regis G. (Rose) Thimons, of Mishawaka, Ind., Richard A. (Brenda) Thimons, of Brackenridge, Donna M. George, of Greensburg, Dianne E. (Mark) Moore, of Tarentum, Arnold J. Thimons IV, of Miami, FL, and Linda J. Thimons of Virginia Beach, VA; many nieces and nephews; and best friend, Kathy Yanossy. His family is grateful to Erica of Three Rivers Hospice for her compassion and kindness.

Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM in Guardian Angels Parish, Our Lady of Victory Campus, Harwick. Private burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp.
