Milan M Karan

Milan M. Karan,83 of Springdale Twp passed away Tues,Sept 19,2017 at West Penn Hosp. Pgh. He was born June 12,1934 in Russellton,Pa. a son of the late Steven and Johanna  (Presiak) Karan. Milan was a resident of Springdale Twp  since 1961 and was retired as a  Auto mechanic at Ted Williams dealership in Monroeville. A member of Trinity United Christian Church in Lower Burrell where he was a trustee on fund raising ,and property. Milan enjoyed gardening,carpentry, working on automobiles, and was involved  with  Alle-Kiski Relay for Life. He is survived by his wife of 63 yrs, Jacqueline “Jackie”  (Redmond) Karan, his 4 daughters,Carla Simpson,Trafford, Colleen Elder, Springdale Twp., Sandy (Greg)  Kline, Allegheny Twp., and Pamela Schafford of Trafford. His Grandchildren, Matthew Simpson, Jason (Kim) Simpson,Christie (Matthew ) Moore, Chad ( Shawna)  Taylor, Matthew (Juli)  Kline, Michael Kline, Rachel Kline, Rachelle and Brittany and Danielle   Schafford. Great Grandchildren, Raine and Cora Simpson, Katelyn Moore, Lucy Taylor, Owen and Anna  Kline, and Arianna  Schafford. His siblings, Helen Kozial, and Dorothy Kurtiak ,Russellton,  and his twin sister, Mickie  McKara  ,Lower Burrell. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by: 6 brothers and sisters, Anna Fender, Barbara  Camp, Sophie  Boyle, Ted, George and Steve Karan,Jr. Visitation will be Today,Thurs ,Sept 21 from 2-4 PM to 6-8 PM in the Duster Funeral Home,Inc. 347 East 10th Avenue,Tarentum 15084 (724) 224-1526. Services will be conducted on Friday at 10:30 AM in Trinity United Christian Church,Lower Burrell with Pastor Cletus Hull officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park,Lower Burrell.
