Miles F. Pihony, 62, of Natrona Heights, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 3, 2022 at UPMC Altoona. He was born February 13, 1959 in Wilkinsburg to the late Michael and Margaret (Trainor) Pihony. Miles lived most of his life in Natrona Heights and was a self-employed Truck Driver for Rose Transportation, Pitcairn for 40 plus years. He was a member of Tetelestai Church, New Kensington. He attended Penn Hills High School but graduated from Highlands High School in 1977. Miles enjoyed golf, working on his equipment and spending time in his garage.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Nancy M. (Lausberg) Pihony; daughters Jennifer L. (Bruno) Ekberg, of Murrysville and Madison M. Pihony (Nate Croyle), of Cowansville and grandchildren Elias and Eva Ekberg and Ivan Croyle. Also surviving are his siblings, Matthew (Linda) Pihony, of Freeport, Michael (Cindy) Pihony, of Penn Hills and Maureen (Michael) Flanders, of Navarre, FL. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Maxwell F. Pihony and a brother Mark Pihony.
