Minnie A. Peck

Fawn Township

            Minnie A. Peck, 84, of Fawn Township, passed away at home Wednesday, June 7, 2023 following a lingering illness. She was born October 6, 1938 in Fawn Twp. to the late Milton and Alice (Porbaugh) Pritts. Minnie was a homemaker and also worked at Woodline Industries in Frazer Twp. for 20 years. She was a 1957 graduate of Tarentum High School and enjoyed bingo, gardening and loved her chickens. Minnie especially enjoyed her family, children and grandchildren.

            Survivors include sons Melvin W. (Tammy) Peck Jr. of Tarentum, and Mark D. Peck of Fawn Township. Grandchildren Christopher (Kristin) Peck of Owens, Maryland, Timothy “TJ” (fiancé Dakota) Peck of Natrona Heights, and Samuel Peck of Tarentum. Also survived by sister Caroline Venesky of West Deer Township. Besides her parents, Minnie was preceded in death by her husband Melvin W. Peck Sr. in 1985, and her companion of 29 years; Hans Duncan, as well as 5 brothers and sisters.

            A memorial service will be held Sunday at 11:30 A.M. in St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Brackenridge with Rev. Dr. Frank M. Yesko officiating. Burial will be private.
