Nancy A. McCarty

Nancy  A. McCarty, 81, of Cranberry, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Sunrise of McCandless. She was born September 11, 1941 in Harrison Township to the late Newton Lynn and Miriam (Humes) Alter. Nancy has lived the past 30 years in Cranberry Township where she was a homemaker. She was of the Methodist faith and a 1959 graduate of Tarentum High School and Clarion College.

        Survivors include her husband of 53 years Michael McCarty and son Robert McCarty, of Austin, TX. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Lynn “Bud” Alter.
