O. Carol Lynn

O. Carol Lynn, 75, of Tarentum, passed away Friday, December 01, 2017 following a lengthy illness at Good Samaritan Hospice of Concordia, Cabot. She was born June 16, 1942 in Harrison Twp. to the late Morris and Orella (Sober) Machin. Carol lived her entire life in Tarentum where she was a custodian for Highlands School District for 31 years. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, Tarentum, her church choir, Sunday school teacher and Deacon of her church. Carol graduated in 1960 from Tarentum High School and enjoyed classical music, playing cards. She played the piano and enjoyed Christmas Holidays.             Survivors include her children Kathleen O. (Thomas) Linderman and Frank J. Lynn, Jr., both of Tarentum, grandchildren Benjamin and Gabrielle Linderman, Tarentum. Also surviving is a sister Marian B. Kostie, Brackenridge; nephews David (Sandi) Kostie, New Kensington, Jeffrey (Amy) Kostie, Natrona Heights and Jason Kostie, Brackenridge and 3 great nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank J. Lynn Sr. in 2010.             Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Services will be held on Monday at 11 AM in Central Presbyterian Church, Tarentum with Rev. Sara J. Wrona, officiating. Burial in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
