Patricia S. Burns

Patricia S. Burns, 81, formerly of East Deer Twp., passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born January 9, 1941 in Butler to the late Edward and Ruth (Burns) Pacek. Patricia lived most of her life in Brackenridge and Tarentum. She was a Registered Nurse at Allegheny Valley Hospital and also did private duty nursing. Patricia was a veteran of the Vietnam era serving in the US Air Force and of the Catholic faith. She graduated from East Deer High School in 1958 and Allegheny Valley School of Nursing. Patricia enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family.

            Survivors include her siblings, Ronald E. Pacek, of Springdale and Stacey (Thomas) Weleski, of Natrona Heights. Also surviving are nieces and nephews Devon Matchock, Sean Pacek and Becky Pacek; and great niece Aubrey Matchock and great nephew Graham Pacek.

            A private family visitation and blessing service was held in Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Private burial was  in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp. Family suggests contributions to Disabled American Veterans. VISIT: dusterfh.com
