Patricia L. Kindler

Patricia L. Kindler, 86, formerly of Tarentum, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at UPMC Jameson Medical Center, New Castle. She was born July 12, 1935 in Craigsville, PA to the late Walter and Lula Belle “Lou” (Ruffner) Harmon. Patricia lived most of her life in Tarentum and the past 4 years in New Castle. She was a Registered Nurse for Western Psychiatric Hospital and Children’s Hospital. Patricia was of the Presbyterian faith. She graduated from Worthington High School, Slippery Rock University and Butler School of Nursing. She enjoyed shopping and reading on nursing.

            Survivors include her son James E. Kindler, Jr. and partner Josh McGowan, daughter Kim Olinger (David) Gardner, of Freeport, steps sons, John C. Hill, of Sligo and Josh C. Kindler, of New Castle. Also surviving is a brother James (Cindy) Harmon, of West Kittanning. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James C. Kindler in 2001.
