Patricia A. Sites, 71, formerly of Penn Hills, passed away Monday, Jan. 8, at home. She was born Nov. 10, 1946, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Edward and Kathryn (Wilbert) Braun. Patricia lived the past 18 months in Natrona Heights but most of her life in Penn Hills and Plum Borough. She was of the Catholic faith and was a graduate of Plum High School in 1964. Patricia was a secretary at Montefiore hospital in the oncology and hematology department, as well as at the Hillman Cancer Center and Oakland V.A. She enjoyed dancing, but especially loved spending time with her family, children and grandchildren, and going to their sporting activities. Survivors include her children, James O. Sites III, of Washington Township, Denise M. (John) Clark, of Natrona Heights, and Charles E. "Chuck" (Nicole) Sites, of Washington Township; grandchildren, Derrick and Elizabeth Wells, Kylee (Matthew) Landman, Matthew Stewart-Sites, John "J.J." Clark, Trevor and Benjamin "Ben" Sites, Aiden Sites, Josie and Sawyer Sites, and Courtney Shadle; and her siblings, Edward (Betty) Braun, of Plum Borough, Richard (Mary) Braun, of Murrysville, Kathleen Pugliano, of Penn Hills, Johnny (Sandy) Braun, of Monroeville, Charles "Cheech" Braun, of Plum Borough, and Susan (John) Matis, of Jeannette. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 yrs, James O. Sites Jr., on May 8, 2016; brothers, James and infant brother Daniel Braun; and a sister, Mary McCoy.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the blessing service at 11 a.m. Friday at DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum, PA 15084, 724-224-1526, with the Rev. Wesley M. Mash officiating. Interment will be private.
