Paul J. Dubac, 90, of Tarentum, passed away at home Tuesday, September 11, 2018. He was born February 2, 1928 in Tarentum to the late Frank and Rose (Stopka) Dubac. Paul lived his entire life in the Tarentum area where he was a Glassworker for PPG Industries in Creighton. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving in the Korean Conflict spending three years in Alaska. Paul was a member of Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum and the Tarentum Jednota. He graduated in 1948 from Tarentum High School and was also a graduate of Barber School in Pittsburgh. Paul liked fishing, flowers, gardening, all sports, especially Pittsburgh sports. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Paula J. Scott, Brackenridge, Kevin M. Dubac, Tarentum and Kerry S. (Andrea) Dubac, Carnegie. Also surviving are his grandchildren Vincent, David, Aaron, Paul and Nadine. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Paul Dubac, Jr., Brothers Frank, Peter and Joseph Dubac and sisters Helen Frende, Stephanie Dobies, Theresa Altman, Rosemary Vuchinich, Mary Rovnak & Annie Galcik.
Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum with Rev. Aaron J. Kriss, officiating. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp. with military honors. VISIT: dusterfh.com
