Paul D. Harbison

Paul D. Harbison, 61, of Natrona Heights, passed away Friday January 27, 2023 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born April 7, 1961 in Natrona Heights, son of the late Edward D. Harbison, Sr. and Paula M. (Calligan) Harbison. He lived most of his life in Natrona Heights. Paul was a 1980 graduate of Highlands High School and worked for Weleski Transfer. He was a veteran of the US Army and of the Catholic faith. Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed going for rides looking for wildlife.

            Paul is survived by his grandson Zackary Ferguson, of Natrona Heights, his sibling Michele Harbison Vertosick, of Natrona Heights, his children Christina (Brian) Fitch, of  Apollo and Michael (Erin) Harbison, of Brackenridge. Grandchildren Landon and Abigail Fitch, nephews Jason (Carly) Miller, Justin Harbison and Joe (Julia) Vertosick, Jr.; nieces Heather Harbison and Sam Vertosick. Also surviving are his stepdaughter Nicole (Calvin) Johnson and her children and step mother Judy Shultz Harbison, of Natrona Heights and two nieces  Olivia and Ashlyn Negley. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Donna Haggerty Brooks Harbison, a step sister Lee Ann Shultz Negley and brother Edward Harbison, Jr.

            A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday from 1-3 PM at Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Private burial will be held with military honors in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp. VISIT: dusterfh.com
