Paul Stephen Varos, Jr.

Paul Stephen “Bucky” Varos, Jr., 81, formerly of Arnold, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot. He was born June 6, 1941 in Harrison Twp. to the late Paul S. and Sophie (Sadowski) Varos, Sr. Paul lived most of his life in Arnold. He worked in Inventory Control at Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corporation for 35 years and was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Vietnam era. Paul graduated from Har Brack High School in 1958 and earned a degree in Business Management from the University of Pittsburgh. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, was a sports fan, especially the Steelers and Penguins and coached Natrona Heights Little League. Survivors include his sister, Paula M. (Ronald) Harford, of Natrona Heights; nieces and nephew, Heather Harford, of Penn Hills, Jason Harford, of Philadelphia and Ashley Videant, of Natrona Heights. Also surviving is his special friend Ahlene Smith of Tarentum and his dog Fred. All services and burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp. with Military honors will be private.
