Pauline (Zencuch) Chupka, 93, formerly of Tarentum, passed away Wednesday, November 01, 2017 at Ridgewood Personal Care, Plum Boro. She was born August 23, 1924 in Creighton, East Deer Twp., to the late Joseph and Mary (Dubansky) Zencuch, Sr. She lived most of her life in Tarentum where she was a homemaker and member of Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum and former St. Clement Worship Site. Pauline was also a member of Tarentum Jednota and the Brackenridge American Legion Auxiliary. She graduated in 1943 from Tarentum and enjoyed baking, sewing and bingo. Pauline especially enjoyed her family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Dennis (Christina “Tina” ) Chupka, Harrison City, Gary (Diane) Chupka, Rockville, MD and Karen Isola and Keith, Poland, OH; grandchildren Nicholas (Allison) Chupka, Jocelyn Chupka and Caroline (Joe) Lewis; great granddaughters Avery and Isabelle Chupka and a number of nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul “Bill” Chupka in 2008; 5 brothers John, Joseph, Stephan, George and Frank Zencuch and 4 sisters Dorothy, Ann and Elizabeth Zencuch and Helen Raybits.
Visitation 1-4 PM Friday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a Prayer service will be held Saturday at 9:30 am followed by a Christian funeral mass at 10 am in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum with Rev. Thomas L. Gillespie, MD, officiating. Entombment in Our Lady of Hope Mausoleum, Frazer Twp. Family suggests contributions to Holy Martyrs Church. VISIT: dusterfh.com
