Peter D. Rantovich

Peter D. Rantovich, 71, formerly of Marietta, GA and Lower Burrell, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. He was born March 15, 1951 in Masontown, PA to the late Peter and Elsie (Bulazo) Rantovich. Peter leased property for Sylvan Gas Co., in Mt. Washington for a number of years and was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Tarentum and the Lower Burrell Legion. He graduated from Springdale High School and Duquesne University. Peter enjoyed sporting events and fishing.

            He is survived by his brother Theodore “Ted” Rantovich, of Rural Valley.

            A Divine Liturgy was held in Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Tarentum with the Very Rev. Vasyl Polyak, officiating. Burial was in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Twp. Arrangements by Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. VISIT: dusterfh.com
