Phillip “Phil” Harber, 75, of Springdale, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 at Oakmont Care Center. He was born January 21, 1943 in Harrison Township, to the late Harry and Stella Harber. Phil lived the past 26 years in Springdale and prior to that Brackenridge. He was employed at Curtis Wright, formerly Westinghouse in Cheswick for 36 years before retiring in 2005. Phil was of the Catholic faith ,was a sports fan and a veteran of the army. He enjoyed football and horse racing but he especially enjoyed his family, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his children Richard A. “Rick” (Jennifer) Harber, Indiana, Jason P. (Sarah) Harber, Warrendale and Nicole Renee Harber, Springdale; grandchildren Gwenyth, Lucy, and Elliot Harber. Also surviving is a sister Betty Miller, Brackenridge. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores A. “Dolly” (Brezny) Harber in 2008.
Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a blessing service will be held on Friday at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. VISIT: dusterfh.com
