Ralph D. Norris

Ralph David Norris, 92, Lower Burrell passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at his home with his family at his side. He was born in Culmerville, PA on June 28, 1926 to David and Mary (Brolley) Norris. Ralph was married for 67 years to his wife Bertha ( Habucky) Norris. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Antietam in the South Pacific during WWII. Ralph was a member of Grace Community Presbyterian Church in Lower Burrell and a former member of Pleasant Unity Presbyterian Church of West Deer Twp. He was employed by Gulf Research for 30 years, as well as W.L. Roenigk part-time.

Besides his wife Ralph is survived by sons William (Cheryl) Norris, Tarentum,  and Allen (Cindy) Norris, Indianapolis; daughter-in-law Maria Norris, Russelton, and brother, Ron (Lynetta) Norris of Scottsdale, AZ., grandchildren Michelle (Joe) Lettrich, Jeremy Norris, Lauren Norris, Allen (Megan) Norris, Jr., Jaison (Jessica) Norris, Anthony Norris and Samantha Norris, great grandchildren, Joseph, Dominic, and Isabelle Lettrich and Madelyn Norris, countless friends and loved ones that helped celebrate his life. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his parents, son David, and grandchildren Alex and Abbigail Norris.

Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Services will be held Saturday at 10 AM in Grace Community Presbyterian Church, Lower Burrell with his pastor Rev. Kenneth W. Foust, officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Entombment will be in Our Lady of Hope Mausoleum, Frazer Twp with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for St. Margaret Mary's Food Bank or People's Library of Lower Burrell.
