Raymond H. Stephan, Jr.

Raymond H. Stephan, Jr., 95, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot. He was April 16, 1927 born in Allegany, New York to the late Raymond H. and Jessie (Merrit) Stephan, Sr. Raymond was a Thermal Evaporator Operator for Liberty Mirror in Brackenridge. He was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights where he was an usher. He was also a member of the Tarentum Elks and Natrona Knights of Columbus. Raymond was a social member of the Brackenridge American Legion and Natrona Heights VFW. He attended Allegany High School in New York and loved cooking. Raymond was known for his gourmet cooking.

            Survivors include his wife of 71 years Evelyn R. (Schwabenbauer) Stephan; daughters, Cynthia K. (Thomas) Schellinger, Perdeus, of Buffalo Twp., and Kathryn R. Stephan, of Buffalo Twp. Also surviving are his grandchildren Robert R. (Shan) Schellinger, of Chantilly, VA and Marcus K. (Erin) Schellinger, of West Sunbury, PA and 6 great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Susan M. Silver, of Tampa, FL.

            There will be no public visitation, however, relatives and friends are invited to attend a Christian funeral mass Saturday, August 27 at 9:30 AM at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights.
