Rene G. Huet

            Rene G. Huet, 46, of Brackenridge, passed away at home on Saturday, October 23, 2021. He was born July 24,1975 in New Kensington to Georgianna (Westerman) Huet, of Brackenridge and the late Harold R. “Hap” Huet, Jr. Rene was a House painter and also formerly worked at Key Lincoln Mercury, Flabeg, Wayne Sell Trucking and Brackenridge Heights Country Club. He was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Freeport and graduated from Freeport High School in 1993. Rene enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and watching Steelers and Penn State football. He especially enjoyed spending time with family, friends and his children.

            Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife Bryanna L. (Geagan) Huet; daughters Anna and Ella Huet. Also surviving is an uncle Thomas (Jackie) Westerman, of Arnold and aunt Elizabeth “Betsy” Tressler, of Reedsville, PA. Besides his father he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Josephine (Strellec) and Harold Huet, Sr and George and Anna Westerman.

            A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday November 5 from 4-6 PM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Burial will be private. Visit:dusterfh.com
