Richard J. Bosinec

             Richard J. Bosinec, 79, of Tarentum, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. He was born July 27, 1943 in Harrison Township to the late John J. and Ann S. (Pastva) Bocinec. Richard lived his entire life in Tarentum. He was the Owner/Operator of Richie’s Transfer for 45 years and also worked at Liberty Mirror in Brackenridge for a number of years. He was of the Catholic faith and a 1961 graduate of Tarentum High School. Richard enjoyed target practicing, hunting, fishing, archery, camping, reading and history. He especially enjoyed his family.

            Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Carol E. (Bloom) Bosinec; daughter Lisa M. Bosinec, of Natrona Heights and 2 granddaughters Lauren Williams and fiancé Billy Bessas, of Brooklyn, NY and Kelli Williams, of Millvale. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Richard E. Bosinec and his twin brother Raymond Bosinec.

            Visitation Saturday from 12 noon until the time of service at 3PM in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 with Rev. Robert D.
