Richard Jay Rowland

Richard Jay Rowland, 68 of Natrona Heights,went to be with the Lord on Sunday,Aug 8,2021 from Multiple Myeloma with his wife Mary “Mary Jo” by his side. Born Sept 20,1952 in Toledo,Ohio to the late Chalmers and Ruth Rowland,Richard lived most of his life in Natrona,and Natrona Heights. He was employed by Health South (Encompass Health) Harmarville for 40 yrs as a baker. Richard was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church,Brackenridge,and he enjoyed going to the races, campfires,riding his motorcycle,but he especially enjoyed being with his family. He is survived by his wife of 13 yrs, Mary “Mary Jo” ( Schreckengost) Rowland, His children, Kim Rowland (John) Stefanik ,Brackenridge,Becky Rowland,West Deer Twp,7 Grandchildren, Step Sons Ron Menhart, Pgh and Michael Pozzuto of Butler.A sister Sheila (Dave) Postel of Pgh, and many Nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a Brother Robert Rowland In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
