Robert J. "Buzz" Baczynski, Sr.

Robert J. “Buzz” Baczynski, Sr., 65, of Tarentum, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights following a lengthy illness. He was born January 18, 1956 in Harrison Twp. to the late Michael and Beverly J. (Rees) Baczynski. Robert has lived in Tarentum since 1996 and prior to that Winfield Township. He was a truck driver for USF Holland and retired in 2008. Robert was a member of Holy Martyrs Church, Guardian Angels Parish and a 1974 graduate of Highlands High School. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and his motorcycles. Robert especially enjoyed his family, children and grandchildren.

            Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Deborah L. (Wolfe) Baczynski; his children Brian S. Baczynski, of New Kensington and Brooke N. (Eric) Leslie, of Natrona. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and a brother Michael D. (Cindi) Baczynski, of Washington Township. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Robert J. Baczynski in 1992 and three brothers John, Thomas and Donald Baczynski.

            A private family visitation was held from 9 am until the time of the blessing service at 11 AM Friday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 with Rev.
