Robert S. "Greek" Demelco

Robert S. “Greek” Demelco, 84, of Brackenridge, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born August 6, 1941 in Creighton to the late Sotir “Steve” and Angela (Latas) Demelco. Robert lived most of his life in Creighton, Tarentum and Brackenridge. He was a District Manager in Circulation at the Valley News Dispatch for 30 years. Robert was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. He was a 1959 graduate of East Deer High School and enjoyed softball, fishing, hunting and bowling.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Carolyn (Krasinski) Demelco; sister Barbara (Demelco) Cisek, of Rural Ridge; sister-in-law Patricia (Sandy) LoPresti, of North Hills, brother-in-law Stanley (Eileen) Krasinski, of Hershey, PA; step brother-in-law’s Lenny and Larry Wroblewski, step sister-in-law’s Rita Sieczkowski and Marsha Wroblewski. Also surviving are nephews, Adam (Katie) Krasinski, David (Katie) Krasinski, John and fiance Briana Krasinski, David (Robin) Cisek, Michael (Amy) Cisek; great nephews Desmond, Cullen & Maxwell Krasinski, Brad (Claire) Cisek, great nieces Cameron Krasinski, Bailey Cisek, Bethany Cisek and Lilly Cisek and 2 great nieces Elaia & Esther Cisek as well as severl cousins. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Edward Cisek.
