Robert S. "Spanky" Marflak

Robert S. “Spanky” Marflak, 81, formally of Arnold, passed away peacefully Monday, December 9, 2024 after a lengthy illness at Harmar Village. He was born June 4, 1943 in Imperial, PA to the late Stephen Marflak and Anna (Kukieza)Marflak Pruszynski. Robert was a 1961 graduate of Arnold High School. He worked as a supervisor at Haskell’s for 40+ years before retiring. He enjoyed gardening and watching television, especially sports, was an avid Steeler, Pirates and Penguin fan. He was a firm believer in anything broken could be fixed as long as you had enough duct tape. 

 Survivors includer his sister Joanne (Jeffery) Juris and his sister-in-law Karen Prasnikar and brother- in- laws Paul and Joseph Prasnikar. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Elsie (Prasnikar) Marflak in 2022 and two brothers Stephen and Joseph. The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff of Harmar Village for the excellent treatment and care given to Spanky during his stay there.
