Robert C. Thiele

Robert C. Thiele, 86, of Natrona Heights, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot following a brief illness. He was born April 5, 1936 in Tarentum to the late Henry W. and Jean (Burd) Thiele. Robert lived most of his life in Natrona Heights and was a Lab Technician for PPG Paints in Springdale. He was a veteran of the US Army. Robert was a member of Lower Burrell Baptist Church, the NRA and Tarentum sportsman club. Robert graduated from Har Brack High School in 1954 and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

            Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Joanne J. (Voltz) Thiele; children Debra (David) Crider, of Natrona Heights and Charles L. (Kimberly) Thiele, of Butler. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

            Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum where services will be held Monday at 11 AM with Rev. James E. Clemens, Pastor, Lower Burrell Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights with military honors. VISIT: dusterfh.com
