Robert S. Thimons

Robert S. Thimons, 70, of Brackenridge, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. He was born May 11, 1952 in Harrison Township to the late Frank E. and Joyce L. (Campbell) Thimons. Robert lived his entire life in Brackenridge and was of the Methodist faith. He was a Security Guard for Chesley Brown International in Pittsburgh for 30 plus years and a veteran of the US Navy and US Army. Robert graduated from Highlands High School in 1970 and received a degree in Education from Slippery Rock University. He was an avid baseball player . Robert played baseball in High School, American Legion baseball and college ball for Slippery Rock University.

            Survivors include his daughter Jessica A. Thimons and Travis Reynolds, of Arnold and granddaughter Tess M. Reynolds. Also surviving are his siblings, Gail Dobrowolski, of Bethlehem, Gary F. Thimons, of Brackenridge, Carey J. (William) Sopcak, of Murrysville and Robin L. (Mark) Freshwater, of North Canton, OH. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
