Ronald L. Duke, 57, of Buffalo Township passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at Allegheny Valley Hospital after becoming ill at home. He was born March 30, 1960 in Buffalo Township. He has lived his entire life in Buffalo Township and was formerly employed in the maintenance department at Packaging Corporation of America in Cheswick and Giant Eagle. Ronald was of the Protestant faith and a member of Freeport Eagles and Western PA JEEP. He graduated from Freeport High School in 1979 and enjoyed working on cars, motorcycles and was known for his good humor. Ron was full of life and never failed to give you a laugh. He will truly be missed by many.
Survivors include his wife Donna J. (Christie) Duke, daughter Briana M. (Patrick) Proctor, Princeton, NJ; mother and step father Joanne L. (John M.)Kokenda, Tarentum; sisters Cindy (Jim) Reo, Allegheny Twp. and Lori (Dan) Cochran, Columbia, MD; Step brother John M. Kokenda, III, Greenwood, SC, step sisters Kelly (Frank) DiGnanzo, Pittsburgh and Judy (Frank) Dickson, Scottsdale, AZ, special friend Larry Vokish. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and many many special friends. Besides his father, Walter L. Duke he was preceded in death by a brother Jeffrey L. Duke.
