Ronald C. Stobert, 79, of Saxonburg, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 at Concordia of Fox Chapel, Indiana Twp. He was born July 31, 1939 in Natrona Heights to the late Chester and Dorothy (Scoff) Stobert. Ronald lived most of his life in Natrona Heights and the past 10 years in Saxonburg. He graduated Har Brack High School and Tri State University, Indiana. He was a Mechanical Engineer for Burt Hill in Butler for 10 years and prior to that U Parc in Harmarville. Ronald was a veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam era. He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights and the Professional Engineers. Ronald was active in By Scouts Troop 186 and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Sandra E. (Lasher) Stobert; sons Jason R. (Amanda) Stobert, Old Orchard Beach, ME and Gregory E. Stobert, Sr., Ford City; and his grandchildren Isabella and Gregory Jr. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Arlene Patz.
Visitation 6-8 PM Friday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a blessing service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM. Interment will be private.
