Rose M. Boris

It is with great sadness that the family of Rose M. Boris, 80, of Arnold, announces her passing, after a brief illness on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Willows Presbyterian Sr. Care, Oakmont surrounded by her family. She was born March 4, 1938 in Harrison Township to the late Charles and Sophie (Cihil) Fedorechak. Rose was a lifelong member of Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Tarentum where she taught CCD, was a member of the Ladies Altar Guild and Rosary Society.  Rose was a homemaker and a nanny to her grandchildren as well as another family. She also worked in retail and was an office receptionist. Rose graduated from Har Brack High School in 1956. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, cooking and baking. Rose especially enjoyed her family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She will be cherished forever and lovingly remembered by survivors husband of 62 years, Frank Boris; children Gregory (Sue) Boris, Knoxville, TN, Cynthia Ann (Tom) Huckestein, Verona and Mary Beth (Mark) Young, Franklin Park. Grandchildren Mary Ann Mangini, Mark Mangini, Alicia and Alexandra Boris and Marcus Young; great granddaughters Kitanna and Gwen. Also surviving is a brother Charles (Penny) Fedorechak, Sarasota, FL. Besides parents preceded in death by siblings John Fedorechak and Anna Fedorechak Adams.

            Visitation 2-8PM Thursday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a Panachida will be held on Friday at 9:30 am followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10 am in Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Tarentum with Rev. Adam P. Horstman, officiating. Parastas will be celebrated in the funeral home Thursday at 7 PM.
