Russell G. Painter, Sr.

Russell George Painter, Sr., 78, of Natrona Heights, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at The Addison of Logan Pace, Lower Burrell. He was born September 13, 1947 in Pittsburgh, to the late Alexander and Maybell (Brown) Painter. Russell lived the past 20 years in Natrona Heights and prior to that Tarentum. He was a Sr. Staff Technician in research and development at ALCOA for 48 years. Russell was a member of the Jehovah’s witness and a graduate of Arnold High School. He enjoyed home renovations, music and photography. He was a prolific collector of music.

Survivors include his wife, Denise (Durst) Painter; children Kristi (Dan) Ringler, of Blairsville and Russell (Laura) Painter, Jr., of Ireland. Also surviving are his grandchildren Quinn & Avery Painter and Lily and Phoebe Ringler; sister Cindy. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Alex Painter and Darlene Painter.
