Ruth O. Fenn,94 formerly of Natrona Heights,passed away Sunday,Dec 9th at West Haven Manor,Apollo.Ruth was born July 4,1924 in Frazer Twp,a daughter of the late Benjamin H.and Eva O. Black.Ruth lived the past 8 yrs in Apollo was retired from ALCOA, during WW#2 ,and was an ordained Pentecostal Minister. She was a past member of Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War,as well as a past Girl Scout & Brownie leader for Birdville Scouting.Ruth attended Tarentum High School enjoyed Bible studies,painting,flower arranging,wearing jewelry,loved her fur coat,and large hand bags, She always said she was a “Big Firecracker”. Survivors include her daughters,Barbara A. Powell,Hagerstown,MD. Linda R. Gaschler,Tempe,AZ, and Paula (Robert) Smith,Leechburg, Step daughter,Cherlotte (Robert) Carney,Jupiter, FL. Also 12 Grandchildren,23 Great Grandchildren,and one soon to be the sixth Great great Grandchild. Besides her parents Ruth was preceded in death by her husband,Paul S. Fenn,a son Paul E. Fenn,a grand daughter,Danielle Fenn,Step Father Roy E. Salser,and 9 Brothers and Sisters.
