Ruth A. Girardi

Ruth A. Girardi, 79, of Fawn Twp. passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at her home, surrounded by  family, after being ill the past 6 months. She was born March 2, 1942 in Harrison Twp. to the late Norman and Bertha (Kelly) White. Ruth lived her entire life in Fawn Township where she was a homemaker. She was a member of Millerstown United Methodist Church, Fawn Township and enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. Ruth especially enjoyed her family, children and grandchildren.

            Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Frank E. Girardi, Sr.; her children Frank E. (Elizabeth) Girardi, Jr., of Saxonburg, Glenn (Paula) Girardi, of Newtown, PA  and Diane L. (Kevin) Rusak, of Fawn Twp.; grandchildren Brian Girardi, Amanda (Evan) Kikut, Brett Girardi, Shayne (Taylor) Girardi and Corey Rusak. Also surviving is a brother Norman (Patricia) White, Jr., of Sun City, FL and a nephew David (Judy) Thompson, of MD. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Evelyn Thompson.

            Visitation 4-8 PM Friday  in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where services will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM with Rev. Angela N. Ciarimboli, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Twp. VISIT: dusterfh.com
