Ruth B. Riddle

Ruth B. Riddle, 84, formerly of Tarentum, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 at home. She was born May 23, 1934 in Verona to the late Paul and Catherine (McDonald) Hollinger. Ruth was a homemaker and member of Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum and Christian mothers of her church. She graduated from the former Verona High school and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, sewing, baking, reading, bowling and playing the penny machines at the casino.

            Survivors include her children, Thomas Riddle, Verona, Marybeth (Frank) Palko, and New Kensington, Ellen (James) McKinney-Kuhn, Naples, FL and Joseph (Linda) Riddle, Lower Burrell. Also surviving are her grandchildren Norman (Jennifer) Palko, Oakdale, Nicholas Palko, Leechburg, Dr. Joseph (Lynnea) Riddle, Leechburg, Michael (Stephanie) Riddle, New Castle, Vincent (Elizabeth) Riddle, West Seneca, NY and Crystal Riddle, Verona; also 8 great grandchildren survive. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Louis J. Riddle, Jr.; siblings Thomas and Donald Hollinger and Claritta Hollinger.
