Shannon L. Ploskunak

Shannon L. Ploskunak, 41 of Brackenridge passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at home with her family by her side. She was born March 10, 1977 in Pgh. Her parents are Larry & Elizabeth (Woolslare) Hazelet of Natrona Heights. Shannon was a homemaker but also was co-owner of Creative Art Studio in Natrona Heights, and was a member of Bridge City Church in East Liberty.

She was a 1995 graduate of Highlands High School and enjoyed traveling. Shannon loved her Lord, her family and her friends. She home schooled her children and loved spending time with them.

Besides her parents she is survived by her husband of 20 yrs, Steve P. Ploskunak, Jr. Sons, Aaron D and Adam S. Ploskunak at home, a step daughter Achlyn M. Holizna, Ford City,2 sisters Stephanie Rittman, Brackenridge, and Sarah (Shawn) Collins, Verona, step sisters, Angela, Carrie, and step brother Benjamin Hazelet all of Albuquerque,NM. Also surviving is her Mother in Law JoAnn (Fajbik) Ploskunak, Fawn Twp.

Family & friends are invited to attend a celebration of Shannon’s life on Tuesday, August 28^th from 2-4 PM to 6-8PM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 East 10^th Ave, Tarentum, Pa.15084 724-224-1526 where a service will be conducted Wed at 11AM.
