Sharon M. Derikart

Sharon M. Derikart, 70, of Tarentum, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at Fair Winds Manor Nursing Home, Buffalo Township. She was born December 8, 1949 in Tarentum to the late Henry J. and Katherine J. (Huston) Derikart. Sharon lived her entire life in the area where she was a Sales and Service Associate for the US Postal Service for 25 years. She was a member of Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum and the Slovak American club in Tarentum. Sharon graduated from Tarentum High School and enjoyed photography, arts and crafts, reading and jewelry making.

            Survivors include her brothers Franklin P. (Catherine) Derikart, of Florence, SC and David Derikart, of East Deer Township. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Kathleen in 1938 and a brother Henry H. Derikart in 2004.
