Shirley L. Brim

Shirley L. Brim, 92, of Creighton, passed away, Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights following a brief illness. She was born October 23, 1930 in Creighton to the late Wilbur Walters, Sr. and Mary Jane (Harris) Walters, Walker. Shirley lived most of her life in Creighton where she was a homemaker. She also was a file clerk in the Radiology department at Allegheny Valley Hospital for 20 years. Shirley was a member of Janes United Methodist Church, Creighton and a 1948 graduate of New Kensington High School.  She enjoyed traveling, eating out and the Steelers. Shirley especially enjoyed her family, children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

            Survivors include her children Jamie Cutright and Robert Lipinski, of Dorseyville, Sherrie Gibbs, of Cheswick and James (Deborah) Brim, of Spartanburg, SC. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and  10 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul J. “Jim” Brim, March 29,2014, daughter Laurie Wolfinger in 2001 and her siblings Wilbur Walters, Jr. and Vivian Toohey.
