Shirley M. Dilly

            Shirley M. Dilly, 97, Lower Burrell, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Harmar Village. She was born June 29, 1921 in Brackenridge to the late William H. and May (Allen) Lausberg. Shirley lived most of her life in Lower Burrell and was a secretary for ALCOA and numerous other businesses. She was a lifelong member of Central Presbyterian Church, Tarentum where she was an Elder, Trustee and Church treasurer for over 30 years. Shirley graduated from Tarentum High School in 1939 and enjoyed traveling. She especially enjoyed her church and was a member of the Women’s Club of Allegheny Valley President for many years.

            Survivors include her caregiver of many years, David Rankin, Natrona Heights and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harold F. Dilly in 1996 and a brother William A. “Bud” Lausberg in 2005.
