Shirley A. Fleming, 80, of Natrona Heights, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford following a lengthy illness. She was born August 16, 1943 in Punxsutawney, PA to the late Rev. Clarence Richard and Betty (Hause) Main. Shirley lived most of her life in the Natrona Heights and Ford City area where she was a homemaker. She also was a file clerk in the Radiology Department at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital and was a former cashier at Foodland in Kittanning. Shirley was a member of Faith Cathedral Church in Kittanning and a 1961 graduate of Dayton High School. She also had two years of technical training. Shirley enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and especially enjoyed spending time with her family, children and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Eric L. (Paula) Fleming, of Natrona Heights; 5 grandchildren Devin, Lynze, Brendan, David and Eli and 6 great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Trudy (James) Fleming, of Ford City and a nephew Noah (Shelby) Fleming, of Pittsburgh. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her former husband, Gary L. Fleming.
Visitation 2-4 and 5-8 PM Tuesday in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM with her pastor, Alfred N. Reedy, officiating. Burial will be private. VISIT: dusterfh.com
