Shirley J. WIlcox

Shirley J. (Fox) Wilcox, 75, of Tarentum, passed away Thursday, December 07, 2017 at home after losing her battle with Lung cancer. She was born March 24, 1942 in Culmerville to the late Robert and Sara Fox. Shirley lived most of her life in Tarentum where she was a homemaker. She also worked for Presbyterian Home in Oakmont, Bob Evans and Ames Dept. Store. Shirley was a member of Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum and social member of Natrona Heights VFW. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her family, bingo and loved animals.

            Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Ward K. Wilcox; children Calvin W. (Amanda) Wilcox, New Kensington, Robert K. Wilcox and Deanna Cousineau, Tarentum and Mary Winona Wilcox, Tarentum. Also surviving is a granddaughter Krista L. Wilcox, Lower Burrell. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister and 2 brothers.

            Visitation today Friday from 2-4 and 5-7 PM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc., 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 12 noon in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. Private Burial in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp.
